C-M-C u at the Chesapeake Watershed Forum (Registration Open)!!!

Registration for the 14 th Chesapeake Watershed Forum is now open! Friday night spots have already filled up; so make sure you register ASAP. We are excited that water quality monitoring is a priority topic and
there will be several monitoring talks going on throughout the weekend.

  •  Need Data? The CMC can help! (Friday, 5:00-5:45) – The CMC team will be highlighting the
    current data available in the Data Explorer, success stories of how the data has been used to
    support policy and restoration efforts, and provide other potential ways data could be used to a
    broader audience.
  • Teamwork Promotes Stream Monitoring Collaboration (Saturday, 1-2:30) – ALLARM will be
    discussing their monitoring partnership with the Lower and Middle Susquehanna Riverkeeper
    Associations to launch a new volunteer monitoring initiative in Pennsylvania and New York can
    the Susquehanna Stream Team.
  • Advancing Stormwater Research with Citizen Science (Saturday, 5:00-6:00) – Our friends at
    Arundel Rivers Federation will share techniques to engage volunteers in water pollution
    detection and discuss the invaluable role citizens have played in evaluating the cumulative
    effectiveness of stormwater Best Management Practices.
